I’m starting something new – who’s going to join me?

On Monday, specifically – and you have the weekend to think about it.

So – I bought a few copies of this book before Christmas, and gave it as a present to a few friends of mine who I thought would enjoy it.

In fact I have one left if anyone wants a copy…let me know.

And then I saw this chart – put together by another blogger whose posts I read from time to time – and an idea formed.

So, starting on Monday, I’m going to spend half an hour each day for 100 days practising something.

The last day of these 100 will be April 20th, by which time the weather will be warmer, the evenings will be brighter, restrictions will be less strict, thousands of people will have been vaccinated in Ireland, and I, and any of you who want to join me, will have at least 50 hours in the bank practising a particular skill.

I’m going to spend the weekend thinking about what that skill will be for me, and I’ll write about it in Monday’s blog. And I would love if you would consider doing the same. Because these things are easier to do if you have people with you.

The thing is though, I’ll be showing the results of my practice, every 10 days. And I’ll be asking you to do the same.

I’ll set up a Facebook group where we can stay in touch, announce what we will be working on, encourage each other, keep each other honest and accountable, and post progress.

Something to get us through the winter. Who’s in?

Get thinking – and I’ll reveal more on Monday.

I'm Kieran and I play piano. Actually I do a bit more than just playing - I teach others how to play, and I write music, arrange it and host/produce shows.
