When the big day arrives

I have played at lots of weddings over the years. And so I have seen lots of brides and grooms on their big day. Some people I knew well, others I never saw before or since.

The vast majority of them would have put a huge amount of work into their day. It’s one of the biggest days in most people’s lives and people want to make it count.

But many of the couples I saw weren’t enjoying themselves. Its understandable…there is a lot to think about, and a lot to worry about, if you let yourself. People want everything to be so right that they forget to enjoy themselves.

Sometimes it takes an effort and a word with yourself to make sure you enjoy the day. It’s worth doing though.

Our big day is today. And we’re determined to enjoy it. I know lots of readers of this blog are travelling to see tonight’s show and we are determined to put on a great gig for you all. See you later!

I'm Kieran and I play piano. Actually I do a bit more than just playing - I teach others how to play, and I write music, arrange it and host/produce shows.
